A disciple of Kitaro, Franci delivers big news for her public. The album “Symphony of my Dreams” provides her listeners with the artist’s trademark, her transient angelic voice, meandering above and through Kitaros inspirational music.
This recording was years in the making, especially in the choice of repertoire and arrangements. The album consists of 11 songs in which four are compositions of Kitaro: KOI, Silk Road, Estrella, and Symphony of Dreams. These pieces feature lyrics written by Franci. Franci also sings a duet in Portuguese with Celso Viafora partner of Ivan Lins. The duet was composed by maestro Amilson Godoy.
For the production, the renowned conductor Godoy, along with his partner, Marinho Boffa, and the Arte Viva Symphony Orchestra (A.V.S.O.) were selected in order to mirror the atmosphere of Franci voice. The sensitivity of the conductors interpretation of the music, responds, and blends uniformly with the desires of Franci.
American producer/ engineer Gary Barlough, who had developed these concepts with Franci since 2004, and had produced “Stelle” & “Have You Seen” as singles, finalized the project by recording her vocals and mixing it in Los Angeles. This partnership of artists adds new colors and dimensions with a Brazilian flare to the beautiful melodies of Kitaro.
When asked about Franci’s new album, her response was, “I want to be the best at bringing a smile to every being”.
